The Yankees bashed back at Jose Bautista and the Blue Jays Tuesday night.
After watching Bautista torture them with a pair of homers on Monday, the Yankees answered in the best possible way, smacking five home runs - including three in the third inning - en route to an 11-5 win over the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.
Unlike Bautista, who took his time getting around the bases following his eighth-inning game-winner - then pumped his fist several times as he crossed the plate - the Yankees kept the showboating to a minimum.
The five long balls matched the Bombers' season-high, set 10 days earlier against the Royals. A-Rod hit three homers that night, but the Yankees spread the wealth Tuesday night, with different players going deep. (Daily News)
