The Yankees played like anything but a first place team last night in a building that is clearly a House of Horrors for them.
For the second consecutive outing Joba Chamberlain was ineffective. Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter committed costly errors and relievers Mark Melancon and Brian Bruney were bad.
It resulted in a 10-6 loss to the Angels in which Chamberlain blew two four-run leads, pitched poorly but said his confidence isn't taking a hit.
"The last two starts, I have had the best stuff I have had all year," Chamberlain said. "That's the frustrating part. It's frustrating and embarrassing, but you can't do anything about it. The sun will come up tomorrow." Continue
