Alex Rodriguez will have his hip examined in Colorado today and is likely to pull out of the World Baseball Classic
The New York Times first reported on its Web site last night that Rodriguez had a cyst in his right hip, and Newsday confirmed with two sources that Rodriguez has a hip injury. The Yankees then released a statement saying that the three-time MVP is flying to Vail, Colo., to be examined by hip specialist Marc Phillipon at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic. Continue
