Kirk Radomski,the Long Island man and convicted steroid dealer who was one of the chief sources in the Mitchell Report, said in his recent book "Bases Loaded" that former Sen. George Mitchell once asked him if he knew of any steroid use by five All-Star players, including Rodriguez. Radomski said he told Mitchell he didn't.
"Bases Loaded" was released Jan. 27. A spokesman for Mitchell has denied that Mitchell ever asked Radomski about Rodriguez or the other players.
Jose Canseco made headline-grabbing statements about Rodriguez in his second book, "Vindicated," which was released last April. Canseco wrote he was "confident" that A-Rod had used steroids. Continue
