Jeter likely to miss opener vs. Bosox
- Derek Jeter did nothing yesterday to test his cranky left quadricep muscle that has forced him to miss the past three games. Jorge Posada was the DH in Joe Girardi's radically altered lineup against Royals left-hander John Bale since his tired right shoulder doesn't affect his swing.
