Jeter feeling good enough to return to lineup
Derek Jeter could be back in the Yankees' lineup as early as tonight, though tomorrow is more likely. Jeter went through a full array of workouts before the game: stretching with the team, taking batting practice on the field, fielding ground balls at shortstop and running in the outfield at about 80 percent. He had "no setbacks" and said he felt fine. Jeter did some running Saturday, but at more of a jog. He left the April 7 game with a strained left quadriceps muscle, an injury he suffered the previous day. Continue
